With Pride (Scott Bakula) fighting for his life in the hospital, the rest of the team goes looking for the woman who tried to kill him, hoping to catch her before she can finish the job. Later on in Season 5, Agent Hannah Khoury (Necar Zadegan) joins the team as Pride's replacement during his medical leave, LaSalle (Lucas Black) has to deal with an IRS investigation of his late father's business, and Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito) discovers a secret about a coworker. As they deal with their personal issues, the agents also investigates cases such as the murder of a Navy intelligence officer, the kidnapping of Wade (C.C.H. Pounder), and the disappearance of a Navy entomologist.
