The reality show features six people, carefully chosen by relationship experts, who don't know each other but agree to form three couples and get married when they first meet. In Season 1, which takes place in New York City and New Jersey, the experts pair nurse Jamie with salesman Doug, fireman Jason with makeup artist Courtney, and technician Vaughn with manager Monet. After the wedding and a week-long honeymoon, the three couples return to their homes and give married life a try: after eight weeks they will have to decide whether to stay married or get a divorce.
