Notorious flop introducing a pair of Japanese women (pop stars in their home country) to the U.S., as they tried to learn about American culture with help from their comedian costar, even though they spoke practically no English. The humor was lost in translation, and the show lost in the ratings; it was canceled in a month. Yet it refused to die: The show resurfaced decades later on the Trio network and a DVD was released.
