Wendy Williams' Contract Extended to 2022, But Not Her Talk Show?

If you could give Wendy Williams one of her trademark "How you doin'?" greetings this week, she'd probably respond more enthusiastically than usual: the daytime talk show host had her contact extended into 2022, Deadline reports. The Wendy Williams Show show, however, has not been renewed just yet.

Not to worry though: the show pulls in solid ratings, is scheduled to run through the 2016-17 season and is expected to continue for those extra seven years.

Williams' plate also includes her show with the Investigation Discovery network, Death by Gossip With Wendy Williams. Centered around about crime stories initiated by gossip, the show premiered in September.
