Watch a hilarious clip from Wednesday's premiere
What should you do if you know a friend's spouse is cheating?
That's the question posed in Wednesday's Season 2 premiere of The Carmichael Show (10/9c, NBC), in which Jerrod (Jerrod Carmichael) reveals his theory that all successful people cheat.
In this exclusive clip from the season premiere, Jerrod's mother Cynthia (Loretta Devine) and his girlfriend Maxine (Amber Stevens West) have just spotted the husband of one of Cynthia's friends out and about with another woman. Cynthia doesn't want to tell her friend, but Maxine is adamant it's the right thing to do. Jerrod sides with his mother, because, according to his theory, any man with a six-figure salary is obviously seeing someone on the side. You see, the more money someone makes, the less faithful they become. Therefore, Cynthia doesn't have to tell her friend anything, since she probably already knows all about her husband's mistress.

"Any man who gives his wife a car with a big bow on it is probably cheating," Joe (David Alan Grier) confirms. "Those Lexus Christmas commercials are darker than you think."
