Star Wars Resistance, the Disney Channel's anime-inspired Star Wars series, has been renewed for a second season, the Disney Channel announced Wednesday, with episodes set to debut in the fall.

In addition to the renewal news, Disney also released a trailer for the second half of Season 1, which premieres Sunday, Jan. 13.

Star Wars Resistance is a kid-oriented animated series that tells the story of Kazuda Xiono (Christopher Sean), a young pilot recruited by the Resistance for a top-secret mission to spy on the growing threat of the First Order. It takes place a few months before the events of The Force Awakens and will eventually catch up to it. The series features appearances from Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma and Anthony Daniels as C-3PO.
