NCIS: New Orleans Is Losing an Agent

Say your goodbye's to NCIS Agent Sonja Percy because Shalita Grant will be bidding NCIS: New Orleansadieu this year.

Grant is set to exit the show later this season, though there are no specifics on the fate of her character yet. According to Variety, the split was amicable and the exit was a mutually agreed upon decision by CBS, Grant and the producers of the show. Grant's final episode will be Episode 17, airing on April 3.

"It's just time for a change," said Grant's manager, Didi Rea. "This is about moving on to the next great thing."

Grant joined the series as Agent Sonja Percy in the first season of NCIS: New Orleans, and she was upped to a series regular for Seasons 2 through 4. Most recently, Percy had a run in with an old ATF friend of hers that didn't exactly end on a high note, but this sudden ghost from careers past could be paving the way for Grant's exit. Here's hoping Percy just decides to go back to her old job instead of meeting an untimely end.

NCIS: New Orleans airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on CBS.
