Reese Witherspoon Pays Tribute to Her Deceased Legally Blonde Chihuahua

Reese Witherspoon's canine co-star from Legally Blonde has died, the actress revealed Friday.

"With a sad heart, I have to let all the #LegallyBlonde fans know that Bruiser Woods (also known as Moonie) passed away yesterday," Witherspoon posted on Instagram. "He was a sweet little Chihuahua who was very loved. I will never forget the all the days we spent together, I'm sure his tail is wagging in the sky."

Bruiser was 18 years old, TMZ said. A rescue animal, he enjoyed a friendship with Gidget, the Taco Bell Chihuahua.
