Finding romance on television is hard, but holding onto it on television is even more difficult. Look no further than Kim Kardashian and Kris Humprhies divorcing after 72 days — yes, days — of marriage. Are we shocked? Hardly. Unlike the other unions on this list, Kardashian and Humphries met during the run of her show, dated, got engaged and married all within a season. Their reported $20 million nuptials was the subject of a four-hour special on E! (sister Khloe's 2009 wedding to Lamar Odom only got two hours and they're still together!). But alas, Kardashian, who was married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000-2004, filed for divorce from the basketball player just 72 days after saying "I do." Can't wait for the divorce special.

What started as a docu-series about a middle-class couple raising twins and sextuplets turned into a miserable and repulsive chronicle of the demise of their 10-year marriage as more money and fame entered the picture. Post-split, things got even uglier, with he-said-she-said accusations on morning news programs — and not mention Jon's fondness of Ed Hardy wear. TLC continued with the show, renaming it Kate Plus 8, slowly phasing out Jon after he issued a cease-and-desist to the network. The show finally ended two years later.

But perhaps the union was cursed from the start, seeing as the show's title just begs for contradiction.

Living up to its name, Chaotic was just that. The short-lived series chronicled Brit-Brit and K-Fed's whirlwind courtship and wedding through amateur home-video footage, shot by the lovebirds themselves, who generously employed the night-vision option on their camcorder. Combine that with their slurred speeches on love, sex and, like, life, it's not surprising this didn't last.

Speaking of Brooke's buddies, after filing divorce papers, Linda started dating Charlie Hill, a then 19-year-old former classmate of Brooke's.
