Exclusive: Phineas and Ferb's Dr. Doofenshmirtz's Waffle-inator Comes to Life at the D23 Expo

Nothing is sacred to Dr. Doofenshmirtz, not even... waffles?! The bumbling villain of Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb has big plans for next month's D23 Expo, where a real-life version of his latest contraption, the Waffle-inator, is set to be installed. The 40-foot tall "video skyscraper" will spout flying foam waffles at this year's edition of the biennial event, a festival of all things Disney, held Aug. 9—11 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. Attendees can board the interactive game and help the adventurous stepbrothers outmaneuver Dr. Doof and help free Agent P.

Nothing is sacred to Dr. Doofenshmirtz, not even... waffles?! The bumbling villain of Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferbhas big plans for next month's D23 Expo, where a real-life version of his latest contraption, the Waffle-inator, is set to be installed.

The game is part of the celebration for the show's upcoming superhero episode, Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel, in which Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Hulk and Thor will meet the boys' world and encounter, among other things, the Waffle-inator. The special premieres Friday, Aug. 16 at 8/7c on Disney Channel.

"'The Waffleintor' captures the spirit, fun and larger-than-life adventure of the Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel story," says Richard Loomis, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Disney Channels Worldwide. "It's a once in a lifetime chance for kids to challenge Dr. Doof to save everyone's favorite secret agent, Agent P."
