It took a year, but On My Block is finally returning to Netflix for Season 2. The coming of age drama's sophomore season premieres Friday, March 29.
The first season ended with a major cliffhanger with Olivia (Ronni Hawk) and Ruby (Jason Genao) bleeding out on the dance floor after getting shot at Olivia's quinceañera. Ambulances rushed to get them, but their fates will finally get revealed when the show returns. And the date announce clip leaves it ambiguous, appearing to show Ruby both alive and dead.

On My Block, which was created by Eddie Gonzales, Jeremy Haft and Lauren Lungerish, is part of Netflix's growing slate targeting young teenagers that includes pop culture hits like 13 Reasons Why and Big Mouth. While other Netflix teen shows like Everything Sucks! and American Vandal got the axe, On My Block showed it had what it takes to score another season. It also made TV Guide's 100 Best Shows on TV Right Now list.
