NBC Gives Pilot Order to Kate Walsh Comedy from Will Ferrell

Kate Walsh may be returning to prime time!

NBC has ordered a pilot of Bad Judge, a single-camera comedy that would star the Private Practicealum, TVGuide.com has learned.

The comedy tells the story of a hard-living, sexually unapologetic woman (Walsh) who balances her life on the edge with being a judge in the Criminal Court System.

Chad Kultgen will write and executive-produce with Walsh, Will Ferrell, Anne Heche, Adam McKay and Jill Messick under the Gary Sanchez Productions company and NBC/Universal TV.
