Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser Are Back In First Mad About You Revival Trailer

The Buchmans are back!

Spectrum Originals has just revealed the first teaser, release date, and more details for its revival of Mad About You. And as the video reveals, it looks like Paul (Paul Reiser) and Jamie (Helen Hunt) will be facing a new challenge in their relationship: empty nest syndrome.

While not everything has changed for the couple -- they still go on strolls and hit the markets together to the beat of Andrew Gold's "Final Frontier" -- the teaser shows that their daughter Mabel (Abby Quinn) is now all grown up and off to college. This means Paul and Jamie will have plenty of time together to fuss over the triviality of life, like Paul's apparent allergy to refilling the toilet paper roll and the like. Mad About You will also feature the return of original cast members John Pankow and Richard Kind.

Spectrum revealed that the first six episodes of the limited series will premiere for subscribers on Wednesday, Nov. 20, with the final six episodes following on Wednesday, Dec. 18 on its ad-free On Demand platform. In the meantime, the cable service has also made all 164 episodes of the original series' run available for bingeing.

It seems that after much ado, the Mad About You revival is not only happening, but it's almost here.
