On Wednesday's episode of The Arsenio Hall Show, Leno sneaked up from behind Hall and gave the first of two big surprises. The second, via an inconspicuous-looking letter, was Leno's reveal that The Arsenio Hall Show has been renewed for a second season.

CBS Television Distribution sent out a release shortly thereafter making the renewal official. "Since 9/9/13, I've been waking up without an alarm clock," Hall said in a statement. "Producing and hosting my late-night talk show brings me great joy. I'm back where I belong! Thanks to my partners at CBS Television Distribution and Tribune."

TV shows we're losing this year

The Arsenio Hall Show, a revival of the breakout show that went off the air in 1994, has been averaging 6.7 million viewers.
