Horrible Bosses Writers Sell Comedy to CBS

CBS has given a put-pilot commitment to a half-hour comedy project from John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the screenwriting team behind the 2011 movie Horrible Bosses, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

CBS has given a put-pilot commitment to a half-hour comedy project from John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the screenwriting team behind the 2011 movie Horrible Bosses, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The project, dubbed Punching Out, is about a group of thirtysomething guys who hate their jobs and try to recapture their glory days by working at the mall, according to THR.

Daley and Goldstein will write and executive-produce along with Peter Chernin andKatherine Pope. The duo have also already written a sequel to Horrible Bosses. Daley will also continue to play Dr. Lance Sweets on BonesTHR reports.
