Why am I seeing flashes of Darren Criss (Blaine) in a crisp white suit pointing up to a mirror ball? Probably because Glee exec producer Ryan Murphy is teaming with Barry Gibb on an April episode to honor The Bee Gees' Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.
"We've never done disco on the show, but I'm interested in the genius of The Bee Gees," Ryan says. And what about a cameo from Fever star John Travolta? "I would ask him," Ryan adds. "Travolta and Cory Monteith [Finn] became close friends at a party when Cory told him he'd seen [the 1996 Travolta movie] Broken Arrow 20 times. Travolta sent him an autographed copy of the DVD. So maybe we'll have them dance in a Finn dream sequence." Gleeks will certainly want to be Stayin' Alive for this.
