Days of our Lives actress Deidre Hall stopped by TV Guide Network's studios Friday to chat with Hollywood 411's Audrey Cleo. In the exclusive sit-down interview airing Sunday at 7/6c, Hall shares her feelings about the dwindling number of soap operas — once a staple in daytime television.

"There's a place for daytime drama in our lives," she tells Cleo. "We are your family.  We're there when you are sick, when you are lonely, when your own family didn't show up...we are there in your home with you. There's a hunger for that." Hall, who in 1976 began her role as Dr. Marlena Evans in NBC's longest running soap, left the show in 2009 when it went in a different direction.

So, is she returning? Hall addresses the rumors once and for all, exclusively to Hollywood 411.

"It's not the same show I left," she says. "This is a brand new show...it's a brand new Days of Our Lives."

Tune in to TV Guide Network's Hollywood 411 on Sunday at 7/6c to find out what Hall has to say about reprising her iconic role.

Do you think Dr. Marlena Evans is returning to Days?
