Conan O'Brien will give his first post-Tonight Show interview on Sunday to 60 Minutes, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

As part of his $45 million exit deal with NBC, O'Brien was banned from giving any broadcast or print interviews until May 1.

NBC dumps Conan for $45 million payoff, reinstates Jay as Tonight Show host

O'Brien's interview with 60 Minutes correspondent Steve Kroft will include highlights from his 30-city comedy tour and will focus on the events in January that pushed him to leave his Tonight Show post after just seven months, according to The New York Times, who first reported the news.

O'Brien, 47, exited after refusing to move his show back 30 minutes to accommodate Jay Leno's return to late-night TV.

Per his agreement with NBC, the former Late Night host is still not allowed to criticize NBC or newly reinstated Tonight Show host Leno, but Kroft told the Times that O'Brien "flirts with the restrictions" during the interview.

Conan O'Brien going to TBS

O'Brien recently signed with TBS to launch a new late-night show as early as November.

Calls and e-mails to O'Brien's reps were not immediately returned. 60 Minutes airs Sundays at 7/6c on CBS.
