Leelee Sobieski to Star in CBS' Rookies Pilot

Leelee Sobieski will star in CBS' drama Rookies, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Rookies centers on six new NYPD cops trying to balance their personal lives while working the mean streets of Manhattan. Sobieski, 28, will play Gen Perry, a California girl who previously worked as a member of the White House Color Guard.

Robert De Niro will act as executive producer along with crime novelist Richard Price (Clockers) and Little Fockersproducer Jane Rosenthal.

Sobieski, who got her break in the CBS TV movie Joan of Arc, also starred in Deep Impactand Never Been Kissed. She recently guest-starred on The Good Wife.
