Candace Cameron Bure is leaving The View, the chat show co-host revealed on Thursday. Cameron Bure said other commitments, including Fuller House, and a cross-country commute are behind the decision to leave.

"I'm announcing that I will be leaving The View," she said during Thursday's episode. "It wasn't an easy decision, but before I started The View, I had already had my commitments to Fuller House and my work with the Hallmark Channel."

Cameron Bure is a lead on the smash Netflix sitcom Fuller House and stars in at least one Hallmark Channel original movie per year.

"Because of the success of those, my commitments have become even greater with those shows," Cameron Bure continued. "The commute of going West Coast to East Coast every single week for me has been tough on me and hard for my family, as well.

"I want to make sure I am able to spend as much time with my children and invest in all the projects that I do to the fullest extent," she said. "I thank everybody. Whoopi [Goldberg], Joy [Behar], I particularly want to thank you for welcoming me to this table."

Cameron Bure joined The View in 2015.

Cameron Bure is the third panelist to leave the long-running talk show in 2016. Michelle Collins was let go in June, and Raven-Symoné announced her departure in October.

Fuller House Season 2 arrives on Netflix on Friday.
