Angela Tells Pope She's 'Cool' With the Family Business in Animal Kingdom Exclusive Clip

When Smurf's away, Angela will play.

In this exclusive clip from Tuesday's episode of Animal Kingdom, Angela (Emily Deschanel) takes advantage of the fact that Smurf (Ellen Barkin) has taken off and tries to score some quality time with Pope (Shawn Hatosy). She tempts him with a horror movie marathon, teasing, "I'll hold your hand if you get scared," but Pope has other plans. Angela doesn't back down.

"I've been around your family since I was 6 years old," she says. "I know what you guys do. I'm cool with it."

She even vows to track down a VCR, leaving Pope looking awfully overwhelmed.

In Tuesday's episode, titled "Ambo," the Codys head out for a big job, even though Smurf is nowhere to be found. All eyes are on J (Finn Cole) as he assumes a leadership position in a risky heist.

Animal Kingdom airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on TNT.
