Amanda Seyfried Opens Up About Dating: Sexual Attraction Is a Must

Potential suitors, listen up! When it comes to dating Amanda Seyfried, you don't have to worry about impressing her mom — just her lady parts!

"Everybody I've dated I've been sexually attracted to immediately," she told Elle magazine in a recent interview. "Sparks don't grow—your vagina doesn't become more inclined to wanting someone just because you're around them."

And those sparks, Seyfried admits, don't easily pass. Although she has most recently been linked to Dexter's Desmond Harrington, she says she is still close with her ex-boyfriend Dominic Cooper. ""We love each other..." she said of Cooper. "He'll always be in my life regardless of what his girlfriends or future wife think. I'm never going to be with a guy that can't deal with my friendship with him."

Seyfried's head-turning comments about her love life come just as she is getting ready to turn heads in her most risqué role to date — that of porn star Linda Lovelace in the biopic hitting theaters on Aug. 9. "I read the script and I was like, 'Wow, this is the riskiest thing that's happening [in Hollywood] right now,'" she said. "The first thing you think about is that it could have ruined my career. At the same time, I was like, 'This is my chance to show them, to show the industry, to be recognized.'"
