Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans, your hopes of getting to see any more Bobbi Morse is even more dead than before. Adrianne Palicki, who played Bobbi on the ABC superhero drama, has joined Fox's upcoming untitled sci-fi series from Seth MacFarlane, reports Deadline.

The live-action hourlong comedy-drama hybrid, which was ordered straight to series, was written and created by the Family Guy mastermind and follows the crew of a spaceship 300 years in the future. MacFarlane stars as the ship's captain and Palicki will play his ex-wife and the first officer of the ship. Oof, that will be uncomfortable. Voice actor and MacFarlane pal Scott Grimes (American Dad!) will also star, playing the spacecraft's pilot.

For Palicki, the new gig marks another chance at a steady television gig following her role as Tyra on Friday Night Lights and Bobbi on S.H.I.E.L.D. But it hasn't been easy for her; She starred in the quickly canceled Lone Star, landed the high-profile role of Wonder Woman in NBC's failed Wonder Woman pilot, recurred on About a Boy and saw her potential Bobbi Morse spin-off get rejected twice.

Fox has not announced a premiere date for MacFarlane's new series.
