It looks like Delta Burke's return to TV is going to have to wait. Her ABC comedy pilot, Counter Culture has been shelved after the actress suffered an injury on the set, Deadline reports.

Pilot Season: Cougar Town's Briga Heelan to star in ABC's Counter Culture
Burke fell last week during pre-shoots, just days before the pilot was to be taped in front of a live audience. While producers were hoping Burke would have a speedy recovery, the pilot was unable to shoot as scheduled. For now, the pilot won't be in consideration for ABC's fall schedule. Even if it does move forward, shooting likely won't take place until after the network upfronts, according to Deadline.
An email to ABC was not immediately returned.
The comedy follows three aging sisters who, while running family diner together in West Texas, find that sibling dynamics are always getting in the way of getting the job done. Burke was cast to play Nonie, one of the three sisters. Joyce (Margo Martindale), the eldest of the three sisters, plays the mother-in-law of Jill (Cougar Town's Briga Heelan). Everybody Loves Raymond's Doris Roberts is also set to star.
