Consider this video to be a kind of converging biography, wherein the intersecting paths of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. and Alabama governor George Wallace are examined, lives that converged during the struggle for U.S voting rights and the forces of segregation and the rising struggle and reality of integration. Their lives and times are evaluated, explaining in some ways issues each man absorbed in their different worlds. Both impacted the country forever. Included is archival footage and interviews with contemporaries and eyewitnesses like Andrew Young and Wallace aide Bill Jones. Narration is provided by Gerald McRaney.
