Death in Small Doses Reviews

Presumably an important "message" film when released, now a hysterical howl, DEATH IN SMALL DOSES details the efforts of US Food and Drug investigator Graves to stamp out the influx of amphetamines into the trucking industry. It seems that truckers all over the country have been wrecking their rigs in crashes because they are "hopped up" on the "bennies" they have been taking to stay awake on long hauls. Graves poses as a trucker in search of pills to get the goods on the big pushers. He falls for lovely Powers and then discovers that she is one of the biggest pill kingpins in the country. Connors is great as a trucker spaced out on pills. This is a must-see for low-budget cultists.
