After recovering the treasure, Jim and his crew divide it and head back to the ship separately (in order to protect themselves from Silver and Pew), agreeing that whoever doesn't make it back will be presumed caught.
Jim and Jane happen upon a shipwrecked girl who turns out to be a ghost---a victim of Flint's curse on those seeking the treasure. And efforts to break Flint's spell may spell disaster for Jim and Jane too.
Silver and Pew join forces to get Ben to lead them to the treasure, but their incessant double-crossing puts the plan in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Jane and the Squire use Flint's log book to locate the treasure.
When a fireball hits the Hispanola, Jane, the Doctor and the Captain are separated from the crew. But being set adrift has its benefits for Jane, as she stumbles upon the wreck of Flint's ship and finds a valuable log book.
Jim falls into a murky pool that shows him troubling visions of the future, including one in which he becomes a ruthless pirate not unlike Silver. Later, he fears the prophecy is coming true when Silver tries to win his loyalty.
After being saved from drowning by a merman prince, Silver learns the creature is willing to fork over riches in exchange for a wife. So the pirate decides to cash in on the opportunity by volunteering Jane for the job.
After being injured while searching for the treasure, the Squire is rescued by a birdman and flown to a city in the sky. But he is imprisoned by the city's residents, who believe he's part of Silver's gang.
Silver is sentenced to an eternity in the underworld after falling into a volcano. But his devilish ways may be his means of escape, when he strikes a deal with the Demon for his release that involves Jim taking his place.
Upon arriving on the island, Jim and his crew decide to forego their treasure hunting and build a shelter. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, Silver and his cronies are monitoring their activities from afar.
Jane is bitten by a poisonous snake, prompting Jim and Ben to search for the plant that can provide an antidote. Unfortunately, snake-in-the-grass Silver has other ideas, and does everything he can to impede their quest.
As Ben and the gang set out to claim the treasure, they are attacked by a dragon sent by Pew that swallows Jim whole. But it's Silver who's most intent on rescuing Jim, when he realizes that the young man is his key to the treasure.
Ben and the Squire infiltrate a band of pirates to see if the riches they've discovered are the treasure Jim and the crew have been hunting. But their covers are nearly blown when Silver shows up on the scene.
Jim, the Doctor, Silver and Rat find themselves in a cave that appears to contain precious metals. But the group learns that what lies beyond the glitter may be more valuable: an entrance to another dimension.
