Dr. Blue surprises his wife with a romantic wedding vow renewal in Las Vegas; a Schnauzer boarding at the clinic needs medical help from Dr. Lavigne; Dr. Ross treats a very ornery parrot; and a senior dog with a recurring eye mass visits Dr. Blue again.
Dr. Ross examines a barred owl that was hit by a car; Jamie Bell, a dog who hasn't eaten in days, is hiding a secret; and the docs visit an animal rescue center and get up close with some Texas wildlife.
Dr. Ross deals with six sugar gliders that show off their best moves; Zorro, a one-year-old Chihuahua-mix, shocks Dr. Lavigne with heart trouble not typically seen in a young dog; and the doctors hit the bay on a fishing trip with a client.
Dr. Blue's love of fish has him wanting a home aquarium. Dr. Ross attempts to diagnose Layla, a Lab with bizarre test results. Dr. Lavigne performs knee surgery on a bulldog. A lamb, headed to the county fair, suddenly has breathing problems.
Dr. Blue takes a trip to a vegan cattle ranch to castrate five 1200-pound adult bulls, but tension runs high when bulldozing occurs. Meanwhile, Dr. Ross treats a hen with a rough mating injury; and a young puppy needs a surgery after being hit by a car.
Dr. Ross starts off the day with a trio of mischievous ferrets suffering from a skin condition; and Bella, a 9-year-old shepherd, is diagnosed with an extremely large tumor, and her family is faced with difficult decisions throughout her treatment.
The doctors are honored for their contributions to the community. Before the event, they care for a goat with a badly twisted leg; a Great Dane with a life-threatening condition; and a bulldog rescued from a puppy mill.
In the Season 3 premiere, Diarra opens up the clinic after Hurricane Harvey pours more than 30 inches of rain on Houston, and the doctors help animals affected by the storm, all while dealing with the personal issues that Hurricane Harvey has brought to the city.
