Wildlife advocates Jim and Teresa Clare raise a spectacled bear at a refuge in the Ecuadorian Andes and prepare it to return to the wild in a documentary by Bruno Vienne and Richard Woolocombe. The Clares and their children also take a horseback trip into the Andes to take photos of an Ecuadoran condor and a pygmy marmoset, and they help transport a capuchin monkey to a refuge.
