Power vocalist Christiana returns after a first-round win, only to reveal that she's only got one other song. Dave Bartlett, however, is back and ready with a little darker version of his normal stuff. Only one will go to the finale.
First-round winner Juan Luchini returns with a second seductive Latin-American pop fusion song, and might just have the edge over Brian, who at the last minute throws a curveball by changing the song he's going to perform.
Pha is a college-aged bioscientist who's never performed her songs publicly. Her bubbly personality, and music style, is up against Cedd the Light, a seasoned Kansas City street performer who learned how to play the guitar behind bars.
At barely 5 feet tall, Teri is a giant on the stage. Her quick lyrics and catchy hip-hop melodies are meant to completely captivate, but Dave Bartlett, the humble, slow-to-speak roadblock between Teri and the next round, might surprise everyone with a soulful performance of his own.
Juan merges pop music in the U.S. with music from Argentina home to create a fun-in-the-sun genre all his own. His competitor, Jessamyn, uses her music and faith to battle depression, making for a clash of songs and styles that are polar opposites.
Representing his college band, Brian sings and plays the accordion on his waltz-style song, "Nightmares and Daydreams," but he'll have to overcome power Army vocalist and former drill-sergeant Christiana with her country song, "Barefoot Mountain Child."
