Carrie, who lost Big to a wife 10 years younger and several inches taller than she, finds love with furniture designer and all-around nice guy Aidan in the comedy's third season. Unfortunately, Carrie also has her share of drama, jeopardizing her relationship with Aidan by having an affair with Big. Hoping to put this squandered opportunity with Aidan behind her, Carrie takes off for Los Angeles to explore the prospect of turning her columns into a movie.
