The story behind the Alaska-Siberia Lend-Lease Memorial in Fairbanks, a bronze sculpture by artist Richard T. Wallen to commemorate U.S.-USSR cooperation during World War II. From 1942 to '45, the U.S. delivered some 8000 warplanes to the Soviets (Alaska to Siberia was the final leg of the route). Included: archival footage and photos; interviews.
