In the Season 2 finale, the Powers Division sets out to contain SuperShock by dangling "Ghost" as bait, but things take a drastic turn. Meanwhile, Walker learns Retro Girl withheld pertinent information from him, leaving him to decide if he's ready to be a hero, despite no longer being a Power.
Walker suspects an old friend is responsible when Powers begin dropping from the sky, while Pilgrim believes Ghost is responsible and goes after him. Also, Calista's confrontation with SuperShock leaves her questioning her being a Power.

An important member of the community is murdered as Calista is set to be crowned a shining star of the Powers universe by the CEO of a powerful merchandising company. With Walker and Pilgrim serving their suspension, the city begins to unravel around them.
Cross unofficially reopens the Retro Girl case and orders Pilgrim and Walker to conduct the investigation, while Los Angeles is wracked with gang warfare and goes into lockdown, which leads to SuperShock coming out of retirement.
Walker and Pilgrim try to diffuse a gang battle between the Hacks and the Quantums on the day of Retro Girl's funeral, while Calista makes her public debut as New Retro Girl. Later, Walker dogs a suspect he believes is the killer.
