1:11 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Funny, he doesn't look a day over...oh, never mind. No matter what we say he'll get crabby! Disney Channel will help celebrate the 80th birthday of the delightfully tempestuous Donald Duck with a special episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Friday, June 6 (8:30am/7:30c).
Bibbidi Bobbidi...Who? Disney Channel will celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday, Feb. 14, by twice riffing on the beloved 1950 animated classic Cinderella. On the star-studded "Smee-rella" episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates (8:30 a.m./7:30c), shlumpy Mr. Smee is transformed by Pip the Pirate Genie (voiced by Jerry O'Connell) into a dashing buccaneer who, with his newfound swagger, attends the Pirate Convention hosted by Red Jessica (Jane Kaczmarek) and catches the eye of Jessica's first mate Mollie (Melissa Rauch).
Disney Geek alert! While Mickey Mouse is busy celebrating his 85th birthday, his loyal gal pal Minnie Mouse will have plenty to keep herself occupied on the "Minnie's Pet Salon" episode of Disney Junior's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (Friday, Nov. 22 at 9 am/8c). The plot finds the Clubhouse pals descending on Minnie for help to get their pets spruced up for Pluto's All-Star Pet Show. Here's an exclusive TV Guide Magazine clip:
Mickey Mouse is returning to where it all began. The Disney icon and his pals will star in a new series of 19 animated shorts, which will premiere on Disney Channel starting Friday, June 28. Disney says the new Mickey Mouse shorts will contain contemporary themes, but also pay homage to the art direction and style of the original 1920s and 1930s cartoons.
The Crystal Mickey has been stolen! Disney Channel's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse spoofs Raiders of the Lost Ark (Friday, 9 am/8c) when a statue of the world's most famous mouse is snatched from the Clubhouse. This is no mere tchotchke. Without the statue's magic, the Clubhouse will disappear forever! The thief, it turns out, is Plunderin' Pete and he's way too dastardly for Mickey, Minnie, Donald and company to handle on their own.
