A sequel to a 1978 NBC TV-movie picks up where Louisa May Alcott's novel left off. It follows the illness of Jo's fiancé, Friedrich, John's crisis over his career, and the arrival of Jo's cousin, Melissa, who bears a remarkable resemblance to Jo's late sister.
