Johnny Carson discusses his late-night reign during a 1979 interview with Mike Wallace, which includes clips from “The Tonight Show.” In addition, Carson talks about using tennis and his drum set to unwind, and demonstrates his love of magic by performing a card trick. Later, he is featured accepting the Harvard Hasty Pudding award. Also interviewed are sidekick Ed McMahon and his third wife, Joanna.
