Meanwhile, Danny and Delinda try to delicately inform Ed that they're moving in together.

New York mob kingpin Jimmy “The Chin” Aversano (Vincent Pastore) arrives at the Montecito after buying the hotel's lavish $1 million wedding package for his spoiled daughter. The deal includes a personal performance from none other than Wayne Newton (appearing as himself), who's on bad terms with Ed and refuses to show up. Meanwhile, Sam hosts a client who's nearing the end of his life; and domestic bliss for Danny and Delinda begins to show cracks.
A Montecito Christmas finds the crew reluctantly participating in Ed's Secret Santa holiday game. Elsewhere, a merry Delinda anticipates her first Christmas with Danny, whose most prized possession---his car---is stolen; and Sam gives one of her clients a King-size gift.
When a rare fine wine is discovered in the Montecito's cellar, it's auctioned off for $1 million. But is the wine genuine? Meanwhile, Sam squares off against a gaggle of retirees, who infiltrate the casino for a logic-puzzle tournament; and Danny gets jealous of Delinda's new pastime.
One of Ed's most revered former employees (Kate Levering) returns to the Montecito for her wedding anniversary, but her hubby (Judd Nelson) raises Ed's suspicions. Meanwhile, Mary and Sam battle to woo different VIPs. Indie rockers OK Go appear as themselves.
Ed, Danny and Mike wager on which one of them is the best security operator at the Montecito. Meanwhile, Polly (Suzanne Whang) the manicurist tries to get her boyfriend back with help from Sam; and Mary attempts to sell the last residential suite with the lure of a performance by R&B artist John Legend (who appears as himself).
Ed is forced into anger-management classes. Meanwhile, Sam goes through hoops to successfully host a basketball player, but things turn foul when the athlete woos Mary; Delinda tries to atone for offending various folks by serving dinner to the homeless; and Mike tries to purchase a condominium.
When a famed mummy for an exhibit is pilfered, Big Ed and Co. try to unravel the mystery. Elsewhere, a guest is scrutinized for stealing sundry hotel items; and Sam is the recipient of a client's indecent proposal. Harris Lipsky: Louis Lombardi.
When Sam's long-lost flame awakens from a decades-long coma, Delinda takes on Sam's duties and hosts her rich client and his three spouses. Complications ensue when Mike falls for one of the client's wives and a jealous Danny learns of the client's true intentions. Elsewhere, Ed tries to clean house by replacing his housekeeper (Sandra Bernhard).
Despite the untimely death of someone in the organization, the Montecito's company picnic and games are held. At the event, Mike captains one team and rockers Los Lonely Boys entertain the group. Meanwhile, Mary confronts her past by testifying against her father in court.
As Sam's new inheritance causes her to become drunk with power, one of her moneyed clients falls madly in love with her. Meanwhile, Ed and Jillian (Cheryl Ladd) ponder retirement; Danny and Delinda's condo is trashed after Danny runs afoul of a gang lord; Mike meets with a woman from his old neighborhood who once beat him up; and Mary accidentally books two conventions at the same time.
Mike desperately searches for a vanished Sam. Meanwhile, Danny tries to help a battle-scarred military buddy avoid deployment back to Iraq; Mary exhibits bizarre behavior following her father's release from jail; Jillian (Cheryl Ladd) gives Ed an ultimatum; and Delinda reveals shocking news.
