Kendra returns to the Playboy Mansion and visits with her ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner, who talks to her about second chances and inspires her to find her father and get some answers. Later, she speaks to her dad for the first time in 20 years, at which point he invites her to visit him in Costa Rica, however she is hesitant about accepting his offer.
Kendra wonders whether her marriage can be saved and lets her anger out when she confronts Hank about his alleged cheating. Also: She ends up having to go to urgent care for treatment after cutting her hand on a glass trophy.
Kendra's mom Patti visits after the two haven't spoken for a year. As the Wilkinson women try to work out their issues, Kendra and Hank continue to deal with their relationship problems. Later, a girls' night out gets off to a fun start, but tensions ignite when Kendra's friends bring up the rumors about Hank.
Kendra worries that she'll end up like her mother raising two kids on her own as she struggles to come to terms with Hank's alleged affair; and she switches to damage-control mode, meeting with her business advisers about what's next for her career.
Season 3 begins with Kendra's discovery of her husband Hank's alleged sexual encounter with a transsexual model. As Kendra finds her life falling apart around her, best friend Jessica Hall rushes to her side to offer comfort and support.
