In other matters, Amy's given new hope of getting Graciela (Tara Correa-McMullen) freed from jail; Maxine and Sean come up against bureaucracy when trying to help a foster family keep a roof above their heads; and Vincent is moved by the poignant essays of a prison inmate, whose days in the writing workshop are numbered.
