Wilson Cruz (“My So-Called Life,” “Rent”) hosts an overview of teen-themed segments that appeared on previous episodes. Included: the story of Robbie Kirkland, a 14-year-old gay boy who committed suicide; Miami's “Project Yes,” a community-service organization that reaches out to gay youth; student Wendi O'Neal, who organized Spellman College's Lesbian and Bisexual Alliance; two Midwest organizations that help gay youngsters come to grips with their sexuality; high-school student Samantha Gellar, who penned an award-winning, lesbian-themed play; and three artists who made their mark on New York City's “slam poetry scene.”
