Brother JD arrived in Los Angeles from the east coast with not much more than a dream. When he began El Rey's Garage in Venice he wanted it to be a way of life that involved music, video, art and custom cars and bikes. Brother JD followed his dream and today his unforgettable signature style is better known as the "Hillbilly-Hoodrat" style of expression. It truly is something to be witnessed.
Jesse Castillo grew up on the streets of South LA and built the first lo-rider bicycle in the city. Soon Jesse would realise that his obsession with machines would take him much further than he ever dreamed. Today Jesse builds chops for international customers and at the same time runs a workshop that gives the street kids of the neighbourhood some meaning to life. This is Jesse's dream.
Michael Schreiber of California is a Bike builder and Art Gallery operator. Michael used to work for Harley Davidson but did what most of us only dream of doing. Michael sold his classic car to raise money for the new business venture and laid it all on the line. Michael quit his day job and went to build his dream. Now he says his best days are ahead of him and he doesn't look back.
