Renton Thurston is a 14-year-old boy who lived with his mechanic grandfather in a backwater town. Every day he dreamed of being with the mercenary "Light Finding Operation (LFO)" aircraft pilot group "Gekkostate" and riding "Trapar" particle waves-- a sport called "Riffing"-- with their charismatic leader Holland, especially when faced with his father's acclaimed past or his grandfather's desire to protect him. When a young girl named Eureka riding the original LFO, the "Nirvash typeZERO", asks his grandfather for a tune-up, she inadvertently brings the attention of the military to the garage; as a result, the garage is destroyed and Renton is forced to deliver a new type of interface-- the "Amita Drive"-- to the Nirvash. After a heated fight in which the Nirvash destroys the military LFOs by unleashing an immense amount of power, Renton is invited into Gekkostate. However, he quickly realizes that behind the facade of a traveling group of mercenaries is a very bitter reality.

Shrouded in a fog-like mystery, it is up to people like Roger Smith to shine a light through the mist. However, as he gets deeply involved with his clients, what often starts as a simple negotiation evolves into Roger saving Paradigm from crime and peril. In the process, Roger stumbles even deeper into the untold folds of the city. As a rule, things are hardly ever as they appear. Serving as gray knight in a gray world, Roger is not without allies. By his side are Norman, a loyal and widely skilled butler, and Dorothy, a human-like android with deadpan snark. Together with the relic Big O, a jet-black mecha of gargantuan size and weight, they help Roger serve iron justice to Paradigm's lurking villains as he discovers the truth about 40 years ago.

Tokyo has been sunk into the ocean, along with most of the world, during a large-scale land subsidence! Aika Sumeragi is a salvager who works for a small company run by a father and daughter tandem. Alas, the company isn't exactly successful, and money is needed desperately. Thus, Aika accepts the very dangerous job of acquiring an artifact called Lagu for a hefty sum. The boss's daughter Aida Rion joins Aika on this particular mission, and the two set off.

A defunct high school basketball team finds a new student and things may start looking up for them.

Nichijou primarily focuses on the daily antics of a trio of childhood friends-high school girls Mio Naganohara, Yuuko Aioi and Mai Minakami-whose stories soon intertwine with the young genius Hakase Shinonome, her robot caretaker Nano, and their talking cat Sakamoto. With every passing day, the lives of these six, as well as of the many people around them, experience both the calms of normal life and the insanity of the absurd. Walking to school, being bitten by a talking crow, spending time with friends, and watching the principal suplex a deer: they are all in a day's work in the extraordinary everyday lives of those in Nichijou.

Cosmic Era (C.E.) 73. About a year has passed since an armistice signed between the Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty and the Earth Alliance brought an end to the First Alliance-PLANT War. However, the hostilities between Coordinators and Naturals remain, including those of Shinn Asuka, a Coordinator who joined ZAFT after seeing his parents and sister killed right in front of him during the Alliance's invasion of Orb. Entrusted with one of ZAFT's brand-new mobile suits, the Impulse, Shinn and his allies must fight through an ever-escalating conflict, kicked off when an elite EA unit hijacks 3 of ZAFT's other new units, the Chaos, Gaia, and Abyss. With tensions high and unseen hands working from the shadows, a second Bloody Valentine war is on the horizon.
