Richard Crenna narrates the "story of how one man's credit was taken from him." The man was writer-producer Carl Foreman, and the credit in question was for producing 1952's "High Noon." The reason: the McCarthy Era blacklist. The story is told in part via interviews with Foreman colleagues and his two wives, and in part by Foreman (1914-84) himself, in a 1952 letter to New York Times film critic Bosley Crowther detailing the episode. Also: a thumbnail biography of Foreman; "High Noon" clips.
