Showtime Stand-Up Comedy

The Showtime cable network launched this weekly, half-hour monologue series on August 1, 2002. Aimed at viewers who liked their laughs without censorship or rules, the program was launched with a stream of scatological hilarity from cutting-edge standup artist Charlie Viracola. Later participants included Dwayne Kennedy, Patrice O'Neal, Matt Lundholm, and Gary Gulman. Six episodes were produced in all.
