There's a new wolf duo in town, and they go by the name Orthros. This pair seems to be as unbeatable as they are mysterious, but the real surprise comes when it's revealed that their true identities aren't so shrouded in mystery after all.
Homemade bentos are the order of the day, but sometimes these can prove just as dangerous as bentos won in battle. Asebi believes Yo is a big fan of her cooking, while Ume decides to take things up a notch with Hana.
An unfortunate mishap lands Yo in the hospital. Twin sisters Kyo and Kyo, student council officers from Ayame's school, are trying to learn more about Sen. When they mistake Yo, covered in bandages, for Sen, a comedy of errors ensues.
The Monarch, leader of the eastern wolves, claims he wants to take over the supermarkets in the west as well. Sen comes up with a plan to foil him, while Ayame learns there might be more going on here than meets the eye.
Yo inadvertently finds himself caught up in a brewing turf war between wolves from the east and west sides of town. Wolves generally do their own thing, but this time they might need to work together to defend what belongs to them.
The kendo club at school has their own ideas about how to acquire half-price bentos, and its captain makes a tempting offer to entice Yo into their fold. The time has come for Yo to ask himself what his motivation is for being a wolf.
The old nemesis of Orthros shows up in town to undermine them once again. With Sen still sick with a cold, it will be up to Yo to figure out a way to rebalance the playing field for all the wolves, as they vie for seasonal eel bentos.
