A compilation of memorable moments from the groundbreaking 1973 documentary series "An American Family," which offered a cinema-verite look at the lives of Santa Barbara, Cal., couple Bill and Pat Loud and their children Lance, Delilah, Grant, Kevin and Michele. During the seven months of filming, the show captured Pat asking Bill for a separation; and the bohemian lifestyle of gay son Lance in New York. Hosts: filmmakers Alan and Susan Raymond, who shot the show.
