Might stewardesses follow Playboy Bunnies into cancellation? Pan Am kept losing altitude in Week 3, with just 6.42 million viewers aboard. That's down from 7.75 million viewers a week ago — and from 10.87 million when the ABC program took off. And among 18-to-49-year-olds, the rating has swooped down from 3.1 to 2.5 to 1.9, Nielsen overnights showed. That trajectory is not good. Preceding the 1960s drama about stewardesses at 9/8c, Desperate Housewives was down 10 percent, luring 8.46 million viewers and a 2.7 demo rating, which tied a series low (vs. last week's 9.03 million/2.9 demo rating).

Stars better keep those Dancing shoes shined, and wives better be wary: ABC announced its renewal of five unscripted shows, including Dancing with the Stars. Along with DWTS, the net said Thursday that it's bringing back Wife Swap, Supernanny, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and America's Funniest Home Videos — for its 19th season (!). Conspicuously absent from the list was that Dancing-like newbie Dance Wars, which never quite got moving. Don't worry about the mate-seekers being left out — following the upcoming season of the Bachelor (with that smokin' British leading man), the show will be swapped out next season with a new version of The Bachelorette.ABC's roster of five confirms the renewal of its veteran unscripteds, and repeats a similar move last year, when it beat its competitors to the renewal-announcement punch. — Anna Dimond

Best known for benign turns on Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos, Bob Saget shattered his wholesome image with extremely ribald appearances on HBO's Entourage and in the film The Aristocrats. The comic showed us a little bit of both personalities when he chatted about hosting NBC's 1 vs 100 (Fridays at 8 pm/ET), the latest game show from the Deal or No Deal folks. TV Guide: Why 1 vs 100? Saget: It's the most amazing thing ever made. [Laug
Dancing with the Stars So the Kelly Monaco theory of soap-opera fans' unbeatable enthusiasm must have a corollary: football fans. Or maybe we're seeing the proof of that other law of reality TV: viewers vote for the person most abused by the judges. Either way, I again completely underestimated my own shock at Jerry being safe for another week, while Stacy and Lisa were left to the suspense of the bottom two. Man, I am so sucked into this drama! I don't know what I would have done if Stacy had been out. Do people really want Jerry to win? On to the entertaining elements of the show — and by that I decidedly do not mean Michael Bublé's performance. I'm talking about Tom Bergeron's Charlie Chaplin-esque quickstep. So ador
