The legacy of Lorraine Hansberry's 1959 play "A Raisin in the Sun" is examined via the staging at Baltimore's Center Stage of two contemporary plays that it inspired: Bruce Norris' "Clybourne Park" and Kwame Kwei-Armah's "Beneatha's Place." "Clybourne Park" is a both a prequel and sequel to "Raisin" while "Beneatha's Place" follows the "Raisin" characters Beneatha and Joseph to Nigeria.
