And on the final day of the season, the Phoenix Mercury visit the playoff-bound Seattle Storm (Sunday, Sept. 23 at 3/2c). There will also be 10 additional games airing on NBA TV. Players on the home teams will air special pink and white uniforms to mark the occasion.
Each of the league's 12 teams will host on-site events at their home arenas to celebrate local cancer survivors and distribute educational materials about breast cancer. A special auction (which includes autographed pink and white basketballs donated by the teams) begins Monday to raise money for WNBA Cares, the league's charitable foundation.
