AMC has greenlit Daughters of Joy, a four-hour, Western-themed miniseries starring Robert Duvall. Per Variety, the story centers on a rancher, played by Duvall, who rescues five enslaved Chinese women being sent to mining camps to work as prostitutes. Insiders are billing it as "Into the West, only shorter and with whores."
